When did it suddenly become cool to hate everything? It's a growing problem, especially in the entertainment world, and no one benefits from an increasingly hard to please, pessimistic audience.

I went to my neighborhood park today, to get some more bird pictures, and saw this interesting little bird sitting on a twig, and so I took some pictures of it, and some other birds like this, edited some of them in photoshop, and this was my best one.
BTW, due to the way I saved this, this picture looks best in full view. Enjoy! I do have stock photos in my gallery, and an easy way to see my stock photos, one of the folders in I have in my gallery, is specifically for my stock photos. This picture however, is not one of my stock photos, and is not meant to be used by anyone other than me. If you want to show me something I should do to make this picture better though, plz send me a note to ask me for permission to edit this picture, and wait for my ok. Odds are I'll give you permission, I just want to make sure I know who's editing my pictures and why. -----------equipment info---------- Camera: Pentax K100D DSLR Lens: Quantaray LD 70-300mm 1:4-5.6 Tele-Macro Filter: Quantaray 62mm DMC-UV Monopod: Manfrotto 680 EDIT: I've now upped the contrast a bit, so again, If this still doesn't look any better, please let me know, and I'll put the previously edited picture back on here. UPDATE: I just found out what this particular bird is called, and it is a Willow Flycatcher EDIT(x2): I've lightened the bird's head and upped the contrast a bit more, so if you think it looked better before, just let me know, and I'll switch it back to it's previous edit. CommentsIt is very hard to take a really crisp photo of a bird. I think you've done a great work. Good focus, the composition is nice too.

I hope you don't think of this as a dull LBJ... -- How to become more popular, without really doing anything: [link] What a cute little guy

Three of the things that I found that worked, was a zoom lens, wearing all neutral colored clothes, and staying as relaxed, and patient as I could. -- How to become more popular, without really doing anything: [link] You're welcome!
