When did it suddenly become cool to hate everything? It's a growing problem, especially in the entertainment world, and no one benefits from an increasingly hard to please, pessimistic audience.

I thought I'd go out into my backyard to practice using the manual setting on my new(ish) SLR,(Pentax K100D) and smc Pentax DA digital lens with this red Gerbera Daisy, and this was the best one I got...
I know it isn't by any stretch of the imagination artsy, but it's still growing. Do you think it looks alright?(It sure does look better in full view!) If you see this, and would like to use this as stock, I'd LOVE to see what you can do with this, so just remember to: credit me if used, and link me final result with a comment for this, please. I do have stock photos in my gallery, and an easy way to see my stock photos, one of the folders in I have in my gallery, is specifically for my stock photos. This picture however, is not one of my stock photos, and is not meant to be used by anyone other than me. If you want to show me something I should do to make this picture better though, plz send me a note to ask me for permission to edit this picture, and wait for my ok. Odds are I'll give you permission, I just want to make sure I know who's editing my pictures and why. EDIT: My mind's acting really random right now,(as in twilight zone, Subconscious mind and conscious mind switched places) so I stared at this picture, just thinking random thoughts, and the phrase Pushing up daisies popped into my head, and I thought it would be an appropriate title for this picture, so until someone can come up with a better title for this, it shall be called "Pushing Up Daisies" EDIT Comments
Very vibrant but I would follow the advice about sharpening.

When I get the chance, I'll try to fix it a little bit more.

-- How to become more popular, without really doing anything: [link] Thanks!^_^ Does this look any better? This is how it looks without the sharpening. If not, don't worry... I'll bring back the sharpened version till I find the right mix of sharpness if this is worse...
-- How to become more popular, without really doing anything: [link] definitely looks better.
